100 Years of Tradition

100 Years of Tradition at St. Raymond

St. Raymond School is the result of the vision our founding pastor, Fr. Scanlon, had for our parish. Under the guidance of the Sisters of St. Francis of Mary Immaculate, we opened our school doors with 178 students.

Built in 1917 the original church was erected on Douglas St. Today, the school located at 608 N. Raynor Ave. houses 350 students from preschool to eighth grade. The original school building and church is still used for our junior high classrooms and for our library! Campus upgrades have included a gymnasium, a connector, a parish/school Commons, state-of-the-art security technology and air conditioning.

With 100 years of graduates behind us, we are steeped in tradition—traditions that you and your family will come to know and love.

  • Big Friends Little Friends
  • Monster Project
  • Spring Musical
  • Fun lunches
  • 8th grade Holiday Tournament
  • Leadership Mass
  •  May Crowning

Some traditions exist purely for fun, some are rooted in spirituality, some bring us together in service and others foster friendly competition.  Traditions bring a sense of belonging, unity, and connection from generation to generation.  It is what makes St. Raymond St. Raymond.
